The PVB (polyvinyl butyral) filament from ROSA3D is a polymer that allows you to obtain effective-looking, transparent prints.

For this purpose, the surface of the finished print is enough to be treated with isopropyl alcohol (IPA). The ease of printing with PVB filament makes it suitable even for people starting their adventure with 3D printing. PVB is characterized by low shrinkage and no odor. In terms of mechanical properties, it ranks between PET-G and PLA.

Thanks to the possibility of obtaining a transparent structure, it is perfect for printing a wide range of designer, single-walled objects such as vases or lampshades. On the other hand, filled figurines or sculptures made of PVB look as if they were removed from the injection mold after surface treatment. Please note that PVB filament is hygroscopic. For this reason, we advise you to store it tightly closed and dry it immediately before printing, in order to ensure the best quality of the printed element.
